The main points of president Obama's speech was about immigration, tax reform, teamwork, unemployment, jobs, college, military, manufacturing and so forth. In my opinion, i think Obama did very good at explaining what he has done and what he will do. Everyone says Obama hasn't helped with anything..but if you really look at it he's helped way more then our last president has. Our economy was just so screwed up that of course it's gonna take AWHILE for him to put it back together. Obama stated many examples of unemployment and it came to the topic of jobs, he said that unemployment was a very high percentage but as soon as he stepped in everything got lower. He also talked about teamwork, he needs everyones help in that office to work together but republicans are so hardheaded towards democrats because there ignorant. During Obama's speech you can tell who cared to listen and who did not, you can tell who liked what he had to say and who didnt.
In my opinion, I agree with everything Obama had to say. I saw many of the things he had to say interesting. As we saw on television others clapping i was clapping also. Obama to me has changed the government for the better. Many don't like him, many would have someone else, but many also don't have an excuse. Obama made some good points in his speech like where he said, "Get rid of teachers who don't help, and bring in one's who do." I agreed 100% to his assumption because i have had problems with teachers in the past who wouldn't even get along with there students. He also said no more out of country manufacturing so there can be more jobs for us, thats good! I don't see why people complain that Obama doesn't or hasn't done anything because he has. He has made a huge difference in society today! I was shocked on how some people could act so rude towards his speech, some not standing, clapping, just not a care in the world for what he has to say. At first i didn't think i would get into his speech because in reality teenagers don't care about any of this..but when i watched Obama i just got a good vibe from him that made me understand everything he had to say.
